This website is about my 3-week journey in the Pacific Northwest with Anthony during the late spring of 2007. It's a pity that Chung Khim, another of my regular travelling buddies, wasn't around to join us on this grand tour - I had originally planned this as our last gathering before he left the States for long-term work at CERN in Switzerland.

This being the first time that I own a digital camera, my unfamiliarity led to the mistaken use of macro mode instead of scenery mode for the first 2 days of the trip. Nevertheless, I soon got the hang of it and some of the pictures on this trip are among the best I had ever taken with a camera. All photos were taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7.

Week 1

• 5/20/07: Western Olympic Peninsula, Southwestern Washington.
• 5/21/07: Northern Oregon Coast.
• 5/22/07: Mt St Helens, Tacoma.

Week 2

• 5/23/07: Tacoma Narrows, Washington State Capitol Campus, Portland Rhododendron Garden.
• 5/24/07: Mt Hood, Columbia River Gorge.
• 5/25/07: Columbia River Gorge, Lower Deschutes Valley, John Day Fossil Beds, Lake Billy Chinook.
• 5/26/07: Crooked River Canyon, Stein's Pillar, John Day Fossil Beds.
• 5/27/07: Anthony Lakes, Hot Lake.
• 5/28/07: Wallowa Mountains, Hells Canyon.

Week 3

• 5/29/07: Lewiston Hill, Coeur d'Alene Lake.
• 5/30/07: National Bison Range, Kerr Dam, Flathead Lake.
• 5/31/07: Glacier National Park, Kootenai Falls, Moyie Bridge.
• 6/1/07: Coeur d'Alene Lake, Spokane.
• 6/2/07: Palouse Falls, Yakima River Canyon.
• 6/3/07: Mt Rainier National Park.
• 6/4/07: Seattle.
